Lucerna Tenebrae started as a simple way to play Ten Candles online. One of the most interesting aspects of running Ten Candles is with candles that can go out on their own. Tea lights in particular can have a run time of less than 4 hours, which means the pacing of the game is ultimately limited by the fuel remaining in the candles - a physical representation of the player characters running out of time.

I'm not affiliated with Calvary Games in any way, nor am I doing any affiliate links, but I do highly recommend the game if you're interested in picking it up. Likewise, the tool doesn't teach you to play Ten Candles - it only simulates the candles.

I didn't find anything else quite like it with creating simple timers for the candles, so I made a little tool that will randomly assign an extinguish time for each of the candles, so that they can go out on their own.

The app is currently in Beta, over at https://lucerna-dev.ttrp.app, and there are definitely some kinks to work out, but if you're interested in giving it a go please do so. I'll have a feedback form up eventually for beta feedback.
